Melodie Hewer

Melodie was born into a family where music and music lessons were always a priority.  Growing up, music was as much a part of her everyday routine as eating, and this instilled a profound love of music as well as a desire for musical achievement.  She has devoted most of her professional life to teaching piano and theory, desiring to instill musical passion in her students as well as ‘unlocking’ the mysteries of music theory.  She is a graduate of McMaster University and the Royal Conservatory of Music, and is a Royal Conservatory of Music Certified Teacher, holding Specialist Designations in all practical and theoretical levels.  In addition, she is a member of the Royal Conservatory of Music College of Examiners for Theoretical and Practical subjects. “Among the gifts that God has sent, music is the most magnificent.”
